The Masakali gal turns 25 today! Yeah, today is the birthday of Sonam Kapoor. Sadly, her silver jubilee innings won’t be celebrated amidst her family members. Because, the tall beauty is tied up with her work commitments in Edinburgh.

Sonam is reported to be shooting for Pankaj Kapoor’s 'Mausam' along with Shahid Kapoor. But it seems her co-star and the production team have planned some special surprises stored for the actress. On the other hand her daddy dearest Anil Kapoor will be joining her there, landing as a surprise visit. (Well, now that said, it won’t be a surprise, right?)

Now this lass has never celebrated her birthday away from home. So heard that, Shahid has gone out of his way to make the day special for the lady. A party in a hotshot restaurant has been booked in Edinburgh, for which the shooting will be wrapped up early.

Interestingly, Rhea has something different for her elder sis Sonam. Our birdies share that initially the promos of Sonam’s film ‘Aisha’ were to air on June 18 along with ‘Raavan’. However, Rhea worked overtime to get the promos out on June 9 instead – just to make Sonam’s birthday memorable for her! How chweet, we say!
